Faithfully serving in the full time ministry for over 30 years, Pastor Larson and Mrs. Patti have served the community and people of Moore Baptist Temple with a giving heart. Pastor Larson was saved as a child in October of 1980 and later felt the calling of God to preach in 1981. Mrs. Larson was saved in January of 1973. They met while attending bible college at Oklahoma Baptist College and were married in 1989.
Before coming to Moore Baptist Temple, Pastor Larson started and pastored the Good News Baptist Church in Mount Hood, Oregon, pastored the Eighth Avenue Baptist Church in Denver, Colorado and was the pastor and school administrator of Faith Baptist Church of Kilgore, Texas.
Pastor Larson has served in a multitude of different aspects of ministry, including a teacher for adults and senior saints Sunday school classes, actively playing the organ for services, served in the deaf ministry, providing family, marital and personal counseling and as an Administrator for the Mid-Moore Christian Homeschool Association. Most importantly, he preaches God’s Word with a fervent heart and a has a passion to see souls come to know Christ.
Mrs. Larson has served alongside her husband in many ministries. She is active in the music ministry, organizing and leading Ladies’ Meetings, special banquets and conferences. Mrs. Larson shares the same passion for lost souls as her husband and helps run a van for our van ministry. She has been the cheer coach for the cheerleaders involved with the Mid-Moore Christian Homeschool Association for five years and enjoys being around the cheerleaders.
Together, Pastor and Mrs. Larson have seven children that are all serving in various aspects of ministry. Their daughter Lindsay and her husband Ben are active missionaries to the country of Uganda. Katie and her husband Sam faithfully serve in their local church, Heritage Baptist Church in Lawrence, Kansas. Their son Taylor and his wife Sierra also faithfully serve at Heritage Baptist Church. Autumn is a schoolteacher in Nolanville, Texas and serves in any capacity that she can. Titus and Lauren currently attend bible college at Hyles Anderson College, while their youngest, Matthew is serving alongside his parents at Moore Baptist Temple.
Nathaniel and Sandra Means were led of the Lord to join Moore Baptist Temple in 2014. Upon joining, they began serving in different ministries. While Nathaniel is the song leader for our services, he also helps with special work projects around the church. Alongside Nathaniel, Sandra joins him in leading our teens in the youth department. Together, they faithfully attend Moore Baptist Temple with their daughter.
In May of 2019, the Lord moved Jerry & Robin Gonzales to Moore Baptist Temple. After joining, they immediately became involved in many areas of ministry. Bro. Jerry Gonzales, Command Sergeant Major in the US Army, has served as an Army Reservist for 34 years, 15 of which were active duty. Alongside Bro. Jerry, Mrs. Robin has served in many ministries. Before the Lord moved them to Moore Baptist Temple, the Gonzales’ were involved in the music ministry, teaching teenagers, various Ladies’ ministries and so much more. Upon joining Moore Baptist Temple, Bro. Jerry and Mrs. Robin serve in Junior Church together and teach the 1st through 3rd graders in Sunday School. Mrs. Robin also helps out in the music ministry by playing the piano for Sunday School and singing in various specials and groups. The Gonzales’ faithfully attend Moore Baptist Temple with their children, Alysse and Al, while their daughter Andrea faithfully serves in her church.
Brett and Jordan Bellomy were married in 2017 and served together at the First Bible Baptist Church in Great Bend, Kansas from 2017 to 2018. There they were involved in many aspects of ministry. In late 2018, the Lord moved the Bellomys back to Oklahoma and they joined Moore Baptist Temple in early 2019. Brett and Jordan have a heart to serve in the ministry and began teaching in Junior Church, shortly after they joined. Along with teaching in Junior Church, they are involved in the music ministry by singing specials, Brett leads singing for congregationals and Jordan accompanies by playing her trumpet. Together, the Bellomys also teach the Patch Club on Wednesday Nights and lead a van route.
